We are looking for an experienced Production Welder to join our team in Utopia, ON.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Production welding of plate steel and rebar
- Working with jigs and fixtures to produce products at a cost effective pace
- Use of cutting equipment ie. Band saw, cutting torch, grinder etc.
- Grinding and cleaning of parts to produce a quality product free of deficiencies
- Inspection of products after completion to ensure quality is maintained
Skills, Education & Experience
- CWB Ticket in MCAW Preferred
- Skilled in the use of MIG and stick welding
- Ability to communicated effectively and work well independently with minimal supervision
- Capable of reading mechanical drawings/blueprints with a strong attention to detail
- Construction and/or manufacturing experience is an asset
- Organized, punctual, efficient and safety focused
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
