We are looking for an experienced Production Welder to join our team in Utopia, ON.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Production welding of plate steel and rebar
  • Working with jigs and fixtures to produce products at a cost effective pace
  • Use of cutting equipment ie. Band saw, cutting torch, grinder etc.
  • Grinding and cleaning of parts to produce a quality product free of deficiencies
  • Inspection of products after completion to ensure quality is maintained

 

Skills, Education & Experience

  • CWB Ticket in MCAW Preferred
  • Skilled in the use of MIG and stick welding
  • Ability to communicated effectively and work well independently with minimal supervision
  • Capable of reading mechanical drawings/blueprints with a strong attention to detail
  • Construction and/or manufacturing experience is an asset
  • Organized, punctual, efficient and safety focused
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
