Hwy 400 - McKay Rd Girders

DECAST had the privilege of supplying the girders for the McKay Rd. bridge located over Highway 400 in the south end of Barrie. The design of the McKay Road Bridge and Interchange was integrated with MTO’s Highway 400 improvements, which include the replacement of the original McKay Road bridge and future widening of Highway 400. DECAST supplied 8 NU2400 girders that spanned 42.2m long, and weighed 69.2 tonnes.
