Highway 400 Bridge - Harvie to Big Bay Point

This project was required in part to reduce existing traffic congestion and support growth in Barrie's south end by connecting Harvie Rd to Big Bay Point Rd, across Highway 400.  A total of 26 NU2000 girders were installed overnight May 12, 13 and 14. The girders were 2m high and approximately 45m long, 13 of them spanning the northbound lanes and 13 across the southbound lanes.
